Hugo Ball With Lavender Wings
Sometimes it just gets hard
When the whole world seems to break yr heart
So you transform yrself into a perfect beast resembling teddy roosevelt
And live in a world of fairies and rabbits and clocks
And when you meet the catterpillar smoking a hooka he'll give you a velvet heart
And you'll wear it on yr shirt like a bad memory
And then you'll cry because you'll finally realize how fragile everything really is
The rocks all crumble in yr hands because they were never rocks at all
They were only clups of dirt
And now you'll find yrself all alone
Staring at a tiny door you find and think it might open up if you only knock
But you don't dare to knock
Because you'd have nothing to say to the mouse who answers
So out of fear you run for the hills where they're hiding all the enlightenment
Searching for a small morsel to eat
And you never find the elusive stockpiles of moksha
Although they were under yr nose the whole time
